COVID-19 Traumatic Grief Support Group

Brought to you by the Moorestown Visiting Nurses & Hospice
Mondays and Tuesdays
6:30 PM

To register, call (856) 552-1300 between 8 AM-4:30 PM Monday-Friday. Ask for our Hospice Team. Dial-in instructions will be available when you register.

Talking about your loss and grief experience, and listening to others can reduce anxiety, guilt, regret, and feelings of disconnection especially during this time of isolation. In this group, we will explore our feelings about the loss and impact of the death during this extraordinarily difficult period. The group will provide a safe way to share stories and feelings, and to learn positive ways to cope with grief.

The Phone-In facilitator is Bereavement Coordinator, Andra Vasko, BA, MPS, CTRS from the Hospice of Moorestown VNA. Andra has been providing grief education and support in hospice for over twenty years. An experienced and compassionate counselor, currently she facilitates grief support groups for adults who have lost a family member, for widows and widowers, for the LGBTQ community, and for children ages 7-14. Andra also serves as Co-Director of Moorestown VNA's Camp Firefly for children who have lost a loved one.

For those who desire individual counseling, the Community Counseling Center of Moorestown VNA is open and accepting new clients for telehealth therapy sessions. Contact us at (856) 380-1070 to learn more or to make an appointment. Most major insurances accepted.
