
Obituary of Ronald Lee Harms
Ronald "Ron" Harms, 62, passed away April 27th, 2022, following a valiant six year battle of metastatic prostate cancer.
On June 7th, 1959, Ron was born in Kimball, Nebraska, to Elwood and Donna (Moench) Harms. He grew up in Dix, Nebraska, graduating Dix High School in 1977. He then worked in cabinetry shops in Colorado, and Maas Farming in Potter, Nebraska.
Ron's greatest joys were spending time with family, working on the farm, camping, barbecues, and listening to country music.
Surviving by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl (Holten) Harms, children Christie (Dustin) Spencer, Robert (Emily) Harms and Rachel Harms along with 4 grandchildren; Quentin Harms, Zachary Spencer, Wyllow and Adalynn Harms, Sister Lori (Craig) Maas, brother Randy Harms and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Elwood Harms and Donna (Jack) Johnson, Ron is proceeded in death by his in laws, Ray and Mary Holten, along with his sister Candy Dudney and nephew Christopher Maas.
