



Obituary of Ralph Ernest Armitage
On Sunday, November 27th, 2022, Ralph Ernest Armitage, passed away at the age of 81. Ralph was the beloved father of Eric and Jennifer and grandfather of Taylor, Easton, Morgan and Madison.
Ralph was a graduate of California State University of Los Angeles earning his Bachelor of Arts in History and later completed his Master’s Degree at George Washington University in Information Technology Project Management. Ralph was also a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged at the rank of Lieutenant.
Ralph worked in the insurance industry for most of his life as a salesman and later as a project manager for a major retirement investment company. In his spare time, he was an avid reader and was extremely passionate about history. Ralph knew no strangers and loved to talk with people, sharing stories and learning from all that he encountered. Ralph loved spending time with his grandchildren and lived vicariously through their activities and accomplishments. Ralph enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time with his two cats and gazing at the stars.
A burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver will be held on Monday, December 5 at 10:30 AM followed by a celebration of his life and reception for all at Brookside Garden Event Center, 619 E. County Road 8, Berthoud at 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project; woundedwarriorproject.org.
