Obituary of Vincent Frank Barnhart

   We are sad to announce the passing of Vince F Barnhart of Loveland, CO. He died on June 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Vince is survived by his wife Joy and sons Frank (Patti) and Vince (Kathy); and grandchildren Preston, Blake (Jessica) and Jennifer.  Vince is also survived by his sister-in-law Judy Arnold, her children Denise (Steve) Mercia and Kellie Heiden; and their children Steve (Macy), Ben (fiancee’ Maicie Bender) Mercia and Jessica and Rachel (with son Aiden George) and Jailee Heiden, as well as many other family members.  Vince will be missed by friends and acquaintances acquired while living in Loveland for the past 54 years.

   Vince was born in Mt. Vernon, IL to Frank L Barnhart and Adeline Bartolomucci. Vince also had an older brother, Ted. All have preceded him in death.

   Many of Vince’s younger years were spent in Monument and Sanford, CO, followed by many years in Las Vegas, NV.

   Vince and Joy moved to Loveland in 1969 with the desire to raise their children among extended family. He was a co-owner in Colorado Sprinkling Systems (founded in 1967), as well as Fort Collins Indoor Flea Market.  He enjoyed raising his children and watching his grandchildren grow to maturity while enjoying such things as gardening, fishing, hunting, restoring cars, and making home-made ice cream for every member of his family on their birthdays.

   A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 N. Lincoln, Loveland. www://viegutfuneralhome.com.   A family viewing and interment will precede the memorial in accordance with his wishes.
