Obituary of Charles J Davis

Charles J Davis, 88, of Evans, Colorado; passed away on June 18, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Chuck (Charles) was born on April 4, 1935 to Charles John Davis & Alice Etta Davis (Phillips) in Rifle, Colorado. He grew up in El Monte California. After graduating High School, he served in the Army during the Korean war.  In the Mid Seventies, He packed up the family and moved back to Colorado.

In 1986 he married the love of his life Rita.

He is survived by his children, Clint Davis (Belinda), Brett Davis (Carleen), Laura Pulda (Ron), Kirk Davis (Stacey), Jamie Davis, Michael Pankey (Jennifer), Brigid Fry (Michael), 18 Grand Children, and 19 Great Grand Children.

 

He is preceded in death by his, Parents Charles & Alice, and his siblings, Forrest Davis, Morna Davis, Mentor Davis, Glenn Davis, Viola Marshall, Charles Marshall, and Great Grand Daughter Mackenzie.

 

He was extremely proud of being a veteran, and passed that onto his children who served.  He Loved Rottweilers. 

 

Visitation at Viegut Funeral Home, 1616 Lincoln Ave, Loveland, Colorado

430pm to 6pm on 20 June 2023

Private Interment with the family will be at a later date.
