Obituary of Elizabeth Mary Effler

Elizabeth (Izzy) Mary Effler, a vibrant and free-spirited soul who found joy in the wonders of nature, passed away on June 15, 2023, at the tender age of 31. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.

Born in Boulder, Colorado in 1991, Izzy had an unwavering passion for life and a deep appreciation for the beauty that surrounded her. Her love for animals and nature was an integral part of her being. Whether she was caring for her own pets or rescuing and rehabilitating others, her compassion and gentle touch knew no bounds. She believed that every living creature deserved love and respect, and she dedicated herself to fostering harmony between humans and the natural world.

Izzy attended Centennial Elementary School, Lucille Erwin Middle School, and 1 year at Loveland High School before graduating from Park High in Livingston, MT.

As a devoted mother, Izzy poured her love into raising her two beautiful children, Jackson, 10, and Eliza, 5. She was a beacon of strength and support, always encouraging them to explore their passions and dream big. Her children were her greatest joy, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, empathy, and the importance of embracing life's adventures.

Though Izzy's time with us was tragically cut short, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and inspired. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and an enduring appreciation for the world around us. She taught us to find joy in the simplest of moments and to embrace life's wonders with childlike enthusiasm.

Elizabeth (Izzy) Mary Effler is survived by her beloved children, Jackson and Eliza, who will forever carry her love and light in their hearts. She also leaves behind her mother, Lisa, and father, Brian as well as her siblings, Robert, Collin, and Ian in addition to a host of other family members, dear friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A celebration of Izzy's life will be held on Sunday, June 25^th at 1p.m. at Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bones Canine Rescue in Izzy’s memory. Let us come together to honor her remarkable life and find solace in the memories we shared with this beautiful soul.
