Obituary of Stephen Alan Redmond

Stephen Alan Redmond, 68, of Henderson, NV, passed away on 5/21/2023 in Las Vegas, NV.

Stephen was born in San Diego, CA to Emery and Beverly Redmond on 2/8/1955. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen completed 37 years of employment for the federal government. He was retired from his job as an electrician at Hoover Dam. Prior to Hoover Dam, he worked at various Bureau of Reclamation dams in Colorado. He attended San Diego State University and La Mesa High School. He was active in the marching band at both schools, but was most remembered as the Drum Major at La Mesa. He loved playing his piano, guitar and ukulele. He was passionate about evangelism and enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle.

Stephen is survived by:

• Wife Tamara (Tami) Taylor Redmond;
• Children Joshua and Jen Redmond, Sarah and Tim Test, Julie and Zephyr Elgee, and John Taylor Hudson;
• Siblings Glenn and Laurie Redmond, Gary Redmond, and William and Donna Redmond;
• Grandchildren Aidan Helme, Kayla Helme, Davin Redmond, and Adalynn Redmond.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 24^th at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Loveland at 240 West 4^th Street, Loveland, Colorado.  Hawaiian shirts suggested in Steve’s honor.
