Obituary of James Andrew Hutchens
Andy Hutchens passed away and into the arms of Jesus on June 16, 2023. He was born in Oklahoma City, Ok to Frank and Etta Mae Hutchens. He was the youngest of 3 boys.
Andy played football for the university of Denver, during that time he met the love of his life Martha. They were married just short of 59 years. Together they had 4 children “the greatest children a father could have.” In 1967 he surrendered to the ministry. He pastored churches in Arizona and Colorado. His last ministry position was for 20 plus years, at New Mercer Commons.
His last job was driving a school bus for Liberty Commons. He loved the school and loved “his” bus kids even more.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank and Etta Mae, brothers Charles and Wilbur “Perky” and his bride Martha, son in law Bill and granddaughter Brittany. He is survived by his 4 children: James Hutchens wife Debbie, Sherry Pritchard, Karla Moore husband Floyd, and Mark Hutchens wife Nadine. His grandchildren Rodney, Dakota, Rachel, Riley, twins ShyAnn and Shelby, and Brooklyn and 3 great grandchildren. Along with many friends, family and “his” Liberty kids.
