Obituary of Paul David Polston
Paul Polston, 61, passed away surrounded by his loving family after a brief battle with cancer.
Paul was born in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Jimmy and Helga Polston. He graduated in 1980 from Gateway high school in Aurora, Co.
In 1982 he married his best friend Kathy Johnson and together they had 3 beautiful children.
In 1996 they laid down roots in Loveland Colorado to raise their family and started a 28-year long career with the City of Loveland.
Paul enjoyed coaching their kids in many different sports as they grew up. As a family they enjoyed boating, camping, 4-wheeling, and Sunday family dinners. Most of all he enjoyed just spending time with his loved ones.
In 2011 his role changed from not just Dad but to Papa, life became more GRAND! Six grandchildren later his days were filled with little feet and big laughter and even more love. Paul was a very proud Papa!
Paul is survived by his wife of 41 years Kathy (Johnson), daughters Megan (Jeremy) Tjaden, Madelyn (Tyler) Davis and son Timothy (Kylie) Polston.
And his six grandchildren, Rylynn and Kyleigh Tjaden, Abigail and Decker Davis, Mckinlee and Maylee Polston.
Proceed in death by his father and mother and only brother Mark.
Celebration of life will be held on September 23, 2023, 3pm at the private residence of Marc and Susanne Kapaska, 320 South Washington Avenue, Loveland Co, 80537. All are welcome to join in the celebration of his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his name to your local animal shelter.
