



Obituary of Kendra Kathleen Cullison
Kendra Kathleen Cullison went home to her Savior and awaiting family on August 27, 2023. She was born October 8, 1973, to Tom and Diana (Duncan) Cullison of Greeley. Kendra attended school in Greeley and while in high school she received a Certificate of completion from Aims Community College in Acute Care Youth Liaison Training. She graduated from Greeley West High School while concurrently attending Highland Hills Beauty Academy, where she earned a Cosmetology license. She also practiced addiction counseling at Island Grove Regional Treatment Center for several years.
On December 27, 2019, Kendra married Matthew Hailey. She said he was her true soul mate and the best partner anyone could ever hope to have.
Kendra was born with an insatiable curiosity about nearly everything, which could sometimes get her into trouble as she explored this life. Admittedly she, “Marched to the beat of a different drummer”. She could be stubborn and argumentative yet understanding and forgiving. Her smile and laugh were contagious, and she was gifted at making others laugh. Above all else, she had an unwavering affection for those around her and a willingness to help wherever possible.
Kendra was a veracious reader who could read two novels in a day. She loved gardening and spring trips to the nursery. Her three dogs, Gus, Babe, and Benjamin delighted her daily.
Kendra is survived by her husband, Matt Hailey; son, Zachariah Cullison; mother, Diana Duncan; brother, Thomas Cullison; stepchildren, Leah (Trevor) Stepan, Heather Russell and Travis Hailey; step-grandson, August Stepan; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tom Cullison; stepmother, Debby Cullison; grandparents, Emerson and Mae Cullison and Kenneth and Leola Duncan; aunts & uncle, Denise McLaughlin, Beth and Ramon Cullison; cousin, Adam McLaughlin.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at St. Paul’s Congregational Church, 1525 43rd Avenue, Greeley, Co. Luncheon to follow the service. Inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Larimer County Human Society in care of Viegut Funeral services 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland, Co. www.viegutfuneralhome.com.
