Obituary of Paul Von Bendrick
Paul Von Bendrick, born April 16, 2004, passed away in Loveland, CO on September 16, 2023. A graduate of Thompson Valley High School, Paul brought joy to anyone who had the privilege and good fortune to know him. His kindness, courage, and passion for sharing the best parts of this world with those around him was a blessing.
Paul enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything. He was happiest creating moments of joy, fun, and connection with his cousins, friends, family, and especially his brother, Quinton. Paul was kind, generous, and full of introspection and maturity beyond his years. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parents were endlessly amazed at his ability to distill life down to the things that truly matter. He had no time for drama, distrust, gossip, or cynicism.
He brought a natural charisma into any room or situation. Be it the kindness in his smile or his piercing blue eyes, Paul immediately put those around him at ease and made them feel welcome. Friendship with him meant to be considered family and to be loved as such.
Paul was a rare soul who brought light into this world and his light burned among the brightest. It was extinguished far too soon. Those whose lives he impacted will remember the subtlety of his humor, his bottomless generosity, and his ability to make anyone he encountered feel better about themselves.
Paul is survived by his parents, Jacob Bendrick and Molly McNeely, and his brother, Quinton Bendrick. He is also survived by his grandmother, Carol Luther, his uncle, Chris Hudson, his grandfather Roche Hudson, and his dear friend Campbell Kujawa-Black, along with so many family and friends who were part of his story.
