Obituary of Richard Lee Ochoa

Richard Lee Ochoa, 63 of Loveland passed away October 8, 2023. He was born January 31, 1960 to Humberto G. Ochoa and Marcella H. Hernandez in Greeley, Colorado.

Richard loved working on automobiles and owned The Shop of Loveland for 28 years. His hobbies that he enjoyed were hunting, fishing and archery. He was also a member of the Big Thompson Bowhunters. Richard wasn’t afraid of traveling, some of his adventures include Canada, Alaska, Africa and through out Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska.

Richard never met a stranger, he knew everyone and if he didn’t, he became your friend immediately. He has a specialty for talking for hours and hours and loved to teach people new things.

He is survived by his sister Cheryl Ochoa and preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert and Steven Ochoa and his grandparents.

Rosary will be Monday October 23, 2023, 10:00am at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Parish with Memorial Mass at 11:00am. A reception will follow service at the Church in the Hall downstairs.
